Obituary

Oneida Bruner, 94, native of Louisville, Kentucky, member of Larchmont Church of God-Relocated to Murfreesboro, Tennessee where she attended World Outreach Church and was a resident of Westbrooks Towers.  Oneida was the daughter of Louis David "Sam" Bruner and Ethel Edwards Bruner.  Preceding Oneida in death are: her twin sister Oleta Bruner Ashley, sisters Annella Bruner Hulcher and Sue Bruner Hedge. Surviving are her nieces and nephews, Larry Ashley (Sue), Terry Ashley (Rhonda), Susie Hulcher and Lisa Hulcher Little.  Also surviving are her great nieces and nephews, Chris D. Ashley, Whitney Ashley Streets, Aaron Ashley, Megan Ashley, Sarah Little Phillips, Jared Little, and Devin Little. She leaves behind 11 great great nieces and nephews. She was a former employee of South Louisville Child Care and Pixie Palace where she dedicated her life to caring for young children. She loved quiet walks in the woods and playing the piano with expertise even though she never had a formal lesson. She was a sweet, gentle southern lady. Private services will be held in Louisville, Kentucky at Nunnelley Funeral Home with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
